The SEC season is officially in the books as Georgia beat Texas for the SEC Championship. On Tuesday, the SEC released its All-SEC 1st, 2nd, and 3rd teams with 7 LSU Football Players featured on the list.

The LSU Football team had two players named to the All-SEC First Team in Left Tackle Will Campbell and Linebacker Whit Weeks.

Campbell was far and away one of the top offensive tackles in the country once again and will most likely be the first offensive lineman taken in the NFL Draft. Whit Weeks went from a situational player into one of the best linebackers in the Country leading the SEC in Tackles. Having a player like Weeks returning for 2025 gives this team a clear leader of the defense and a piece to build around.

Bradyn Swinson landed on the All-SEC second team where he was joined by Emery Jones and Aeron Burrell.

Swinson had an incredible season with 8.5 sacks and was a dominant force for LSU in the run game helping elevate the defense. Emery Jones Jr earns the nod as well after being solid in pass protection, LSU hopes they can get Jones back for one more season and if they can it'd be a massive boost for the team. Aeron Burrell lands on the second team as well as a Kickoff Specialist, a role he excelled in for LSU this season while recovering from injury.

On the third team, Tight End Mason Taylor and Kick Returner Zavion Thomas crack the group for LSU.

Taylor is a victim of the system as his production doesn't show how dominant he has been while his incredible run blocking will never show up in a box score. Zavion Thomas was a breath of fresh air for LSU after years of fumbles from returners while also breaking a few big returns this season.
