The NFL Scouting Combine can make or break an NFL Draft prospects Draft Stock as all 32 teams have their eyes on the top prospects at the Combine. All Mason Taylor has done this offseason is elevate his draft stock entering the offseason as a Late 2nd Round to 3rd round prospect.
At the Reese's Senior Bowl, Taylor's ability as a blocker paired with his talent as a receiver put NFL teams on notice as he dominated the week. While Mason Taylor didn't partake in any of the testing at the combine he did take part in the on field drills where he looked better than anyone else competing in the drills.
ESPN Draft Scout Matt Miller shared his take as Mason Taylor made the NFL Combine look effortless.
Mason Taylor is clearly in a different tier than the other tight ends working out

The other tight ends including prospects Taylor is competing against and some that NFL Analysts had ranked ahead of Mason Taylor heading into the event in Harold Fannin Jr, Gunnar Helm, and Terrance Ferguson.

NFL Draft analyst Jordan Reid weighed in on how effortless Taylor looks as he's blown away the analysts.
Mason Taylor looks terrific. Effortless hands catcher.

After dominating the NFL Combine and the Reese's Bowl its time for Draft Analysts and Front Offices to include Taylor in the conversation of potential first round picks. Most analysts have Tyler Warren and Colston Loveland ranked ahead of Taylor while he's seen in the same tier as Elijah Arroyo, Harold Fannin Jr, Terrance Ferguson, and Gunnar Helm.
The two tight ends Taylor is ranked behind had a clear advantage over Mason Taylor in the fact that they were the focal point of their respective offenses. If LSU's offense was centered around Mason Taylor the way other tight ends had, than his numbers would stack up right with theirs.
Mason Taylor is the best blocker of the trio and he may be the best blocker at the position in this class. When Taylor gets to the NFL, he'll be one of the few players that had a better situation for success than they did at College as he won't be in an offense nearly as reliant as LSU's was on star wide receivers during his career.
All eyes will be on the LSU Tigers Pro Day as Mason Taylor will perform all of the physical testing in Baton Rouge. Solid performances in the 40 yard dash and the other drills will give Taylor the chance to make his way into the first round.
