As of the last two months, any top recruit the LSU Football team makes a hard push for on the recruiting trail is committing to LSU. The Tigers have rattled off commitment after commitment landing 5-star Tristen Keys, 4-stars Jabari Mack, Dylan Purter, and Havon Finney Jr taking LSU's class from 6th to 2nd Nationally. The lone concern with this class currently is the fact that the Tigers only have 10 commitments as LSU needs to build out the rest of this class.
Heading into the summer, LSU continues to make the final groups for several elite recruits giving the Tigers a great chance at carrying this momentum into the summer.
Elite Offensive Tackle Samuel Roseborough names LSU one of Final 5 schools
On Tuesday, 4-star offensive tackle Samuel Roseborough named LSU one of his 5 finalists alongside Texas, Texas A&M, Florida State, and Ohio State.
On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings list Roseborough as a 4-star recruit ranked as the 139th best player in the class, the 12th ranked offensive tackle, and the 19th ranked player out of Florida.
While Florida State is the In-state school for Samuel Roseborough, the LSU Football team may have the next best advantage when it comes to recruiting Roseborough. Alex Atkins was recruiting Roseborough for Florida State before he was fired from Florida State and landing at LSU. The relationship between Roseborough and Atkins could be key for LSU if the Tigers are going to make a serious run as the 4-star.
The LSU Football team has slowly started to build up the offensive line in this recruiting class holding commitments from 4-star Brysten Martinez and 3-star Jalan Chapman. Landing Roseborough would give LSU a 2nd offensive tackle in this recruiting class which would allow Brad Davis to turn his attention to the interior.
