When you think of Angel Reese you think of LSU, as a member of Kim Mulkey's Lady Tigers, Angel Reese became one of the biggest stars in Women's Basketball winning a National Championship while countless brands lined up to partner on the NIL Front. While Angel Reese will always be an LSU icon, her start didn't come as a member of the Bayou Bengals.
Reese's College career started in her home state of Maryland, signing with the Terrapins as a five-star recruit. As a Freshman, Reese averaged 10.0 points per game and 6.6 rebounds per game showing the promise of the future star she'd become. During her Sophomore season, Reese officially broke out, scoring 17.8 points per game with 10.6 rebounds per game.
After spending two seasons at Maryland, Reese entered the transfer portal looking for a coach that would best develop her for the WNBA and at LSU she got exactly what she was looking for. While Reese traded red, black, and yellow for purple and gold, she'll look to return to her Terrapin roots this week as her brother Julian is in the Sweet Sixteen.

Just like Angel Reese, Julian Reese is making history on the hardwood as well as he became just the second player in program history to grab 1,000 rebounds during the NCAA Tournament. During the NCAA Tournament, Julian is becoming a star just like Angel Reese was averaging 16.5 points per game and 10.0 rebounds per game in the Tournament for the Terps.
Their next task comes against the #1 Seeded Florida Gators which is a tough task for any team. If Julian Reese needs any tips on being the underdog, Angel will have plenty from her runs with LSU as the Tigers came out of nowhere to win the National Championship with Reese.
