Angel Reese will make her return to the Pete Maravich Assembly Center with the Sky

The Pete Maravich Assembly Center has had some special talents showcase their talents with the Tiger faithful cheering them on. Often times however, whether it was Stromile Swift, Shaquille O'Neal, Ben Simmons, or another key player, after their LSU careers come to a close they don't ever get to play on LSU's Campus especially the Men's Basketball players.

Angel Reese will get a special opportunity as the Chicago Sky will face off against the Brazil National Team in May with the Pete Maravich Assembly Center playing host to the game.

This season, Angel Reese took the league by storm making a quick adjustment to the professional game. Reese broke countless records before suffering a season ending injury but, it was clear that she's one of the stars of the league now. Angel Reese finished the year scoring 13.6 points per game with 13.1 rebounds per game and 1.3 steals per game.

It's incredible to see Angel Reese making her return to campus especially as she'll make her return to the floor of the PMAC. During the 2022-2023 season, Angel Reese transferred into LSU and became one of the biggest starts in Women's Basketball leading the LSU Women's Basketball team to a National Championship. During the season, Reese was incredible scoring 23 points per game with 15.3 rebounds per game a truly dominant run.

After winning the National Championship, Angel Reese's stardom hit a whole new level during the 2023-2024 season. Reese's number took a slight decline but, she still led the team on a deep NCAA Tournament run only to be dethroned by Caitlin Clark and Iowa. Reese's LSU Career led her to the WNBA where she was the 7th overall pick by the Chicago Sky and now she gets to return to the court where she launched her career to superstardom.
