This weekend was a quieter weekend for LSU in the fact that there weren't a ton of big name visitors in Baton Rouge. The biggest visitor was five-star interior offensive lineman Solomon Thomas who LSU is trying to flip before Early Signing Day at the Start of December. The best news for LSU was that their commits didn't pop up on visits at any other school.

Among the recruits in attendance was a familiar name in 2026 linebacker Zach Weeks, the younger brother of West and Whit Weeks.

According to On3's Industry recruiting rankings, Weeks is the 282nd ranked player in the Country, the 23rd ranked linebacker in the class, and the 33rd ranked player out of Georgia. The Tigers offered Zach Weeks back in June and have gotten him on campus a few times for games this season.

After the game, Zach Weeks told 24/7 Sports that LSU is right in the race along with Tennessee, and Ohio State.

On3's Recruiting Prediction Machine gives LSU a 40.3% chance of landing the youngest Weeks while Ohio State has a 46.1% chance, and Tennessee has a 3.1% chance.

This is a difficult recruitment to project for several reasons which may be in or out of LSU's control. For starters, if Weeks wants to play alongside his brother Whit Weeks, LSU is the only school that can offer that unless he transfers. The issue is that Weeks has boosted his draft stock and by the time Zach would get to campus, Whit may be in the NFL. On the other hand, if Zach wants to make his own path, there may not be anything LSU can do to change his mind.

The 2025 class will sign in just over a week which will then make the 2026 recruiting class the top priority for Brian Kelly and his staff.
