The LSU Football program is the hottest program in the country on the recruiting trail as the Tigers keep landing blue-chip recruits. The LSU Tigers' top-ranked recruiting class only got stronger on Monday, as elite cornerback recruit Havon Finney Jr committed to the Tigers on the day he was set to announce his "Top 3". It seems like everything is breaking right for LSU and elite linebacker JaMichael Garrett's latest move could be the next big break for LSU.

This summer, the LSU Football team heavily pushed to land JaMichael Garrett but, the Gulf Shores, Alabama star chose to stick In-State, committing to Auburn. Since his commitment, Garrett attempted to transfer to Auburn High School which fell through and could be massive news for LSU as one of the programs still looking to flip JaMichael Garrett.

JaMichael Garrett transfers High Schools moving from Alabama to Baton Rouge

Over the last few weeks, there was buzz that JaMichael Garrett may transfer to Edna Karr but, one Monday night he revealed his move was actually to Central High.

The news is massive for LSU as one of their top targets moves from a state with two SEC programs right into LSU's backyard. The move now puts Garrett in LSU's backyard, making it easier for Blake Baker to stop in for a visit or for Garrett to make his way to campus, especially for game weekends in the fall.

According to On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings, JaMichael Garrett is the 257th ranked player in the class, the 18th ranked linebacker, and he's now the 9th ranked player in Louisiana.

After signing a loaded linebacker class last recruiting cycle, the LSU Football team hasn't been too active recruiting linebackers. After Garrett committed to Auburn, JJ Bush emerged as Blake Baker's top target but, with Garrett now in Louisiana, the Tigers got get back to making a massive push for a flip.
