Former LSU Tigers continue to dominate at the highest level. Week 7 of the NFL season was a great one for several former Tigers, as three LSU alums earned AFC Player of the Week honors. Ja'Marr Chase, K'Lavon Chaisson, and Grant Delpit all shined this past week, which earned them some well-deserved recognition.

Ja'Marr Chase - AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Ja'Marr Chase's Week 7 performance was a historic one. Chase set a Bengals franchise record with 16 catches on Thursday night's 33-31 win over the Steelers. He racked up 161 receiving yards on the night, marking the second time he's exceeded the 160-yard mark this season. He also scored a touchdown for the third consecutive game and has four touchdowns over his last three games. Chase now joins Hall of Famers Jerry Rice and Randy Moss as the only receivers in NFL history to collect 6,000+ receiving yards and 50+ receiving touchdowns in the first five seasons of his career. Chase continues to put up elite numbers no matter who is QB is, as he already has great chemistry with Joe Flacco.

K'Lavon Chaisson - AFC Defensive Player of the Week

K'Lavon Chaisson has found a new home in New England. Drafted 20th overall by the Jaguars in the 202 NFL Draft, Chaisson is putting together a strong first season with the Patriots. He shined in Week 7 against the Titans, accumulating three tackles, two sacks, two tackles for loss and two QB hits. He also scored the first touchdown of his career on a 4-yard fumble recovery. On the season, Chaisson is already up to 4.5 sacks, which is just half a sack away from his career high of 5.0, which he set last season with the Raiders.

Grant Delpit - AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

The AFC Special Teams Player of the Week was Grant Delpit of the Cleveland Browns. Delpit was all over the field on Sunday, helping lead the Browns to a dominant 31-6 win over the Dolphins. The former LSU Tiger collected two tackles on special teams, with one forcing a fumble that led directly to a Cleveland touchdown. He also added a sack, two QB hits and a tackle for loss. Delpit has been a mainstay in Cleveland's secondary since getting drafted by the Browns in the 2nd round of the 202 NFL Draft.
