As LSU prepares to face off against the Baylor Bears in the Texas Bowl, the game looks to be an exciting matchup. The Tigers are slight underdogs to the Baylor Bears as the Tigers face opt outs due to the NFL Draft and the transfer portal. Given that LSU will be playing some new pieces it makes sense why many think this game will be close.

According to one Big 12 reporter this game won't even be close as Baylor will blow the LSU Tigers out. Drake Toll of Locked on Big 12 went off about LSU predicting that the Baylor Bears will demolish LSU.

The first point Toll makes is that LSU simply doesn't have players that care enough as the Tigers have opt outs.

"Baylor is going to beat the brakes off of LSU. If you look at what LSU is going to be missing in this game OMG. It is insane the lack of care."
Drake Toll

He went on about LSU and the SEC's lack of care and how they aren't inspired to play in this game in part because their Head Coach is uninspiring.

"In the Big 12 we still care about College Football, we still think that College Football matters. In the SEC with LSU where it just means more this is just such an uninspired team its an uninspiring Head Coach."
Drake Toll

The biggest issue with his take is the way that LSU finished its season as the Tigers had nothing to play for yet, they demolished Oklahoma. Also when you look at the Tigers in this game you have a big mix of players playing their final game in the uniform and players getting their first game action in the uniform.

It's hard to say a Bradyn Swinson won't care or that Miles Frazier who is playing and is playing at tackle to help the team won't care. When LSU trots out three new starters on the offensive line those players will care as they're playing for their jobs next season.

Everyone takes the cheap shot at Brian Kelly as its the easiest to take given that he's an outsider to Louisiana. At the end of the day, to say LSU doesn't care when it has several players opting in for its final game and you can't change that opinion when LSU does show up to play.
