On Saturday, LSU will host its Junior Day which is one of the biggest and most important recruiting events of the year. This year, LSU will be hosting a star studded cast with a pair of five stars in the 2026 cycle attending, LSU's 6 commits will all be in attendance, and a hoard of targets in the 2026 and the 2027 recruiting cycles.
The Tigers will hope to land every recruit who steps onto campus but, the most important recruit in this class for LSU is safety Blaine Bradford. While Bradford is heading to campus this weekend, he's such an important recruit that Bran Kelly stopped in for a visit.
Thank you Coach Kelly and Frank for stopping by the school today.🐅@CoachBrianKelly @FrankWilson28 pic.twitter.com/m7s2B7qzvK

On3 Ranks Blaine Bradford as the 7th ranked player in the Country, the Top Safety in the class, and the top player in Louisiana. On3 and Rivals agree that Bradford is the top safety in the class while 24/7 Sports ranks Bradford the 5th best safety and ESPN ranks Bradford 3rd.
The Tigers will get Blaine Bradford onto campus this weekend which is massive as several other SEC Schools are hosting their Junior days as well. The LSU Football team has a few things working in their favor as they are the home school for the Baton Rouge Native. In the 2025 cycle, LSU signed Blaine Bradford's Brother Jacob Bradford who will play defensive back at LSU. The return of Corey Raymond has drawn nearly every top defensive back toward LSU given his track record of development.
While the LSU Football Program has a ton working in its favor this won't be an easy recruitment to win out in. Given that Blaine Bradford is one of the best players in the Country, schools from all over the Country are hoping to reel Bradford in. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Oregon Ducks, Ohio State, and Alabama have all pushed for Bradford making it a difficult battle.
The Tigers will have Bradford on campus for the last time heading into the month long dead period which should give LSU the chance to leave a great impression before recruiting goes on pause.
