As of late, the LSU Football team has been starting its recruiting push as the Tigers look to build out their 2026 recruiting class given that the transfer portal activity has seemingly come to a complete stop for LSU. The past few weeks have been filled with LSU's coaching staff extending scholarship offers and Coaches criss-crossing the country visiting top recruiting targets.
When you know LSU is seriously pushing for a recruit is when you see the Head Coach traveling for a visit. On Friday, Brian Kelly went on the road to Ouachita Parish in Monroe, Louisiana to visit top target Dylan Berymon.
Had a great time talking with @CoachBrianKelly today!!! thank you @LSUfootball pic.twitter.com/LTaxAVSYdy

According to On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings Dylan Berymon is the 233rd ranked player in the 2026 class, the 23rd ranked defensive lineman in the class, and the 7th ranked recruit out of Louisiana.
Brian Kelly hitting the road to visit a recruiting target even if its in-state shows how much the staff is making Berymon a priority. LSU will have its hands full in fending off Out of State schools as programs like Texas, USC, and Missouri have all pushed for Berymon.
If LSU could land Dylan Berymon he'd join LSU commits JaReylan McCoy and Richard Anderson in what is shaping up to be an elite defensive line haul for LSU. The Tigers are also making a push for five star in-state recruit Lamar Brown who will play either Offensive Line or Defensive Line.
The LSU Football team has one of the best staffs to keep a player like Berymon in Lousiana if the Tigers want to push. Frank Wilson is one of the best at keeping In-State recruits home, Bo Davis is one of the best at recruiting and developing defensive linemen. If Brian Kelly is going to involve himself in the recruitment it only gives LSU another edge.
