The LSU Tigers came away with a win in the Texas Bowl beating Baylor to end the season on a high note. Given how LSU was playing so many new pieces and how the season now comes to an end, everyone was awaiting Brian Kelly's post game press conference.

The biggest concern in this game was the injury to Whit Weeks, after the game Brian Kelly told everyone that Weeks dislocated his ankle, he'll have surgery, and they hope he can return in time for Spring ball.

One of the coolest moments you'll see is after Whit Weeks was injured the entire team left the sideline to check on Weeks. Kelly spoke on why the team responded the way that they did and what Weeks means to the team.

"Our team responded quickly because he's such an important part of what we do."

Trey'Dez Green had a breakout performance catching 6 passes for 53 yards and a pair of touchdowns which was an excellent showing. After the game, Brian Kelly shared a ton of praise for his emerging star at tight end.

"He made you forget about Mason Taylor with the plays he made on third and fourth down."

The Tigers didn't change the offense to adjust for Green's inexperience and he responded well according to Kelly.

"Trey’Dez is an incredible competitor. We didn’t treat him like a wide receiver. We were going to treat him like it was Mason at that position. Proud of him."

When asked about the Coaching Staff, Brian Kelly said that everything is going to be re-evaluated over the next 4 to 6 weeks as well as saying the staff has to "do some things better".

This game was a challenge for LSU as they balanced so much roster turnover but, Brian Kelly seemingly enjoyed the process.

"It was a little bit of everything today but it’s been really fun to coach this team."

The Tigers played with a ton of new pieces and for the most part everyone contributed, regardless of what you think of this team and how they played, they gave an effort everyone should be proud of.
