The LSU Football program continued to be a Elite Wide Receiver factory sending two wide receivers into the NFL as first round picks. Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr have been hurt by inconsistent quarterback play but, they've both made the most of their situations. On Sunday Brian Thomas Jr had himself a day while playing with Mac Jones.

Thomas finished the game with ten catches for 105 yards and a pair of touchdowns carrying the load for the Jaguars offense.

Thomas' first touchdown of the day was a 3 yard catch and helped Brian Thomas Jr break the Jaguars Rookie Receiving Touchdown record.

In the 4th Quarter, Thomas Jr would strike again this time with a 19 yard touchdown helping the Jaguars take a 22-17 lead over the Jets.

On the season, Brian Thomas Jr has 64 catches for 956 yards and 8 touchdowns, incredible marks considering Trevor Lawrence has been banged up all season. The Jaguars lost but, the offense showed great signs for when Trevor Lawrence is healthy next season.

If you want to become an elite wide receiver, go to LSU

If you're a recruit looking to find a school that can develop you into an elite wide receiver in the NFL, the choice is clearly LSU. Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr are both shining as rookies and will go over the 1,000-yard mark despite shaky quarterback play. Justin Jefferson and Ja'Marr Chase are battling to lead the NFL in receiving and to be the highest paid wide receiver in the NFL. NIL money elsewhere may be better but, when you look at what LSU's Wide Receivers are going to be paid in free agency, that money is better than anything a school can offer.
