The end of the NFL Season marks the official start of Mock Draft season for NFL Draft analysts. Analysts from each Network make their best guesses at who will be the first round selection for each team leading up to the Draft. The most intriguing prospect from LSU is Left Tackle Will Campbell who is a projected first round pick.

Most NFL Draft analysts believe that Will Campbell will be a Top 10 or Top 15 selection while others believe he may be best suited at the next level as a Guard. Given the success Campbell had at Left Tackle while at LSU, NFL teams are most likely going to let him play tackle until he proves he can't play tackle.

Teams such as the Bears, the Saints, the Dolphins, and the Seahawks were the most popular landing spots for Will Campbell however, that may have quickly changed.

The Patriots' hiring of Mike Vrabel is one of the best things that can help Will Campbell's Draft Stock as the Coach is known to favor building up the offensive line. During the five NFL Drafts that Vrabel was the Coach of the Titans the team took two offensive tackles in the first round to replace his previous offensive tackles Taylor Lewan and Jack Conklin.

This has already been reflected in CBS Sports latest 2025 Mock Draft where Mike Renner mock drafted Will Campbell to the Patriots' as the 4th overall pick. Not only would it be a massive milestone for Will Campbell to be selected 4th overall but, it would mark the first time an LSU offensive tackle went in the first round.

Mike Vrabel is known for being a hard nosed Coach as a former player and Will Campbell may perfectly fit that bill.

During Mike Vrabel's Introductory Press Conference, he further solidified his message that he wants to build the Patriots through the trenches calling it critical to build the team up through the offensive line emphasizing getting better in pass protection.

Campbell landing in New England would be massive for his development as he'd get to learn from a Coach who is known for developing and fielding great offensive lines. Campbell would instantly help a Patriots offensive line which allowed 52 sacks which is less than ideal for Drake Maye's development.
