As the NFL Draft Process starts to kick off, the Pre-Draft Showcases take center stage as scouts, coaches, and General Managers gather in Mobile, Alabama to watch most of the top seniors in College Football along with some underclassmen in the Reese's Senior Bowl. Part of what makes the event so appealing to NFL Draft Prospects is the ability to go through a week and a game with an NFL Coaching Staff.

The Coaching Staff is built from NFL Assistants and is a massive asset for coaches looking to become head coaches.

Head Coaches and General Managers from all of the Non-Playoff teams and the teams that lost in the Wild Card Round of the Playoffs were able to nominate Assistant Coaches. The Candidates were then chosen by a group of league office executives and representatives from the General Managers Advisory Committee.

The League executives and representatives landed on two names as Head Coaches selecting New York Giants offensive Coordinator Mike Kafka and Cleveland Browns Special Teams coordinator Bubba Ventrone.

Mike Kafka just wrapped up his third season as the offensive coordinator for the New York Giants and is the most interesting of the two Coaches. Kafka no longer calls plays for the Giants offense however, he's become a Head Coaching candidate interviewing with several teams for openings over the past two off-season's.

Kafka's Staff is built out with Packers Passing Game Coordinator Jason Vrable as offensive coordinator, Browns Defensive Line Coach Jacques Cesaire as Defensive Coordinator, and Titans Coaching Assistant Perry Carter as Special Teams assistant.

Bubba Ventrone spent 10 years in the NFL as a safety before starting his Coaching career with the New England Patriots. Ventrone joined the Browns in 2023 serving as the Assistant Head Coach and Special Teams coordinator.

Ventrone's staff is built out with Giants Running Backs' coach Joel Thomas as the offensive coordinator, Colts assistant Defensive Line Coach Matt Raich as Defensive Coordinator, and 49ers Special Teams quality control coach August Mangin as Special Teams coordinator.
