The LSU Football program is enjoying an incredible March on the recruiting trail. This month has seen LSU land commitments from the Nation’s top wide receiver recruit Tristen Keys, Louisiana’s top wide receiver Jabari Mack, and elite defensive back Dylan Purter.
As LSU holds the Nation’s top ranked recruiting class the question LSU fans are asking is who’s next? The latest good news for the LSU football program comes as elite five-star recruit Immanuel Iheanacho names LSU one of his Top 7 schools.

LSU hosted Iheanacho on an unofficial visit earlier this month and the Tigers now get the benefit of staying in the race for one of the Nation’s top recruits. The goal for LSU now has to be getting an official visit from Iheanacho this summer as it’ll only improve their chances of winning out in this recruitment.
On3’s Industry Recruiting Rankings rank Iheanacho as the Nation’s 2nd ranked player, the 2nd ranked offensive tackle in the class, and the top player out of Maryland.
Winning out in the recruitment of Iheanacho will be a tough task as some of the Nation’s top schools are in pursuit. In-State Maryland will be especially tough to beat out as they’ve been making a full court press to keep the states top players at home.
The LSU football team will have a strong recruiting pitch with the Nation’s 2nd ranked player. The Tigers will have an offensive tackle selected in the first round in Will Campbell while LSU will most likely have four offensive linemen drafted in one draft. LSU has done an incredible job building a loaded recruiting class especially on offense which will only make the Tigers case stronger as he’d come in with an incredibly talented group.
All eyes will now be on the Summer as LSU will look to get Iheanacho on campus for an official visit this summer
