Official Visit season is underway, as College Football programs around the Country will start to host some of the Nation's most sought after recruits as they look to build out their recruiting classes. The LSU Football team enters the Summer looking to carry its momentum forward as the Tigers currently hold the Nation's top ranked recruiting class but, have battled back and forth with USC for the top ranking.
As the LSU Football team only has 9 players committed at this point, the Tigers will start to quickly fill out this class in the Summer, especially as several of the Tigers' top targets have already set commitment dates. The Tigers will also look to build momentum with several targets as they start to near their decisions after hosting each player for a visit this Summer.
Elite Defensive Linemen sets Official Visit date to LSU

The LSU Football team will get Ruffin on campus from May 30th to June 1st getting the first of his 3 official visits. While getting the final official visit is always the best feeling for a fanbase, in the NIL era, it doesn't have as big of an effect as it once did.
On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings list Ruffin as a 4-star recruit ranked as the 310th ranked player in the class, the 31st ranked defensive lineman, and the 17th ranked player out of North Carolina while he plays his High School Football in Alabama.
The official visit to Baton Rouge will be massive for LSU if the Tigers are going to beat out the Buckeyes and Crimson Tide. LSU lost Bo Davis to the Saints which means most of these recruits will sit down with Kyle Williams for the first time when they take their visits. If LSU is able to land Ruffin it would be a big win for the Tigers adding another blue chip player on the defensive line which hasn't met LSU's standard as of late.
