The LSU Football program is approaching Spring practices and as the Spring nears the LSU Football team will be back on the field. The month of March not only brings back practices but, it allows LSU to push for elite recruits once again as the Tigers and the rest of College Football are currently in the midst of a a recruiting Dead Period.
When the recruiting dead period is no longer in place, the LSU Football team will be pushing to get a ton of the top recruits on campus. One of the Tigers' top priorities will be getting elite offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho on campus after he named LSU one of his Final 11 schools.

According to On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings, Iheanacho is the 2nd ranked player in the class, the 2nd ranked offensive tackle, and the Top Player out of Maryland. Among all of the recruiting services, the lowest he's ranked by any program is as the 9th best player in the Country.
While LSU is in the mix for Immanuel Iheanacho the Tigers have a ton of ground to make up to even be in the short group of teams being considered. Steve Wiltfong of On3 discussed Iheanacho's recruitment and laid out where LSU stands as the Tigers are with a packed group of schools all looking to get an official visit this Spring.

If the Tigers can get Iheanacho onto campus it would be massive as LSU can make up a ton of ground in this recruitment. Brad Davis will have a great pitch to recruits in this cycle as he'll have four offensive linemen selected in this upcoming draft which speaks to his ability to develop players. The Tigers have landed a five star offensive lineman in every class under Brian Kelly and Iheanacho could be the next in line for the Tigers.
