As the season has come to a close and the transfer portal has slowed nearing a halt, all of the news coming out of the LSU Football Program has surrounded the 2026 and 2027 recruiting classes. The 2026 Recruiting class is the most pressing need as the Tigers hold the Nation's 5th ranked recruiting class with 6 commits on board.
While the Tigers have been offering top recruits, the bigger news comes when a recruit cuts his list down including LSU or when they visit campus. The Tigers get good news on Wednesday as Elite Five Star Wide Receiver Tristen Keys cuts his list down to 12 Schools including the LSU Tigers.

According to On3's Industry Recruiting Ranking which combines the rankings of On3, 24/7 Sports, Rivals, and ESPN Tristen Keys is the 7th ranked recruit in the class, the 2nd ranked wide receiver, and the top player out of Mississippi.
The Tigers were able to get Tristen Keys on campus this season for the Alabama game but, he has a loaded list of schools in contention. Keys did sport LSU gloves at times during the season but, he did the same with other schools as well.

Tristen Keys is a monster after the catch with his speed and size making him impossible to bring down while he's also shown the ability to go up and win on 50/50 balls.
Keys will be tough to lure in especially as LSU tries to lure him away from Mississippi after seeing what Ole Miss did to keep Caleb Cunningham In-State. The Tigers have had success in Mississippi as of late especially in the 2026 class as they hold a commitment from JaReylan McCoy.
The Tigers already hold two commitments from Wide Receivers Kenny Darby and Jakai Anderson but, LSU will look to add a few more into this class as they could lose Nic Anderson, Aaron Anderson, Barion Brown, and Chris Hilton following the 2025 season.
