The LSU Football program along with plenty of other schools across the Country are starting to catch fire on the recruiting trail. As the Winter turns to Spring, recruits are closing in on decisions while trimming the list of schools they're considering down to a choice group. As recruits take unofficial visits this Spring they'll start to set official visits for the Summer which is a massive piece toward landing a commitment.
The latest to set an official visit to LSU is Elite Cornerback Elbert Hill who'll visit LSU, USC, Oregon, and Alabama. Given that Hill is from Ohio, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Ohio State join the fold picking up an official visit.

His schedule is as follows:
•LSU: May 30-June 1
•USC: June 6-8
•Oregon: June 13-15
•Alabama: June 20-22

On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings rank Elbert Hill as the 27th ranked recruit in the class, the 4th ranked cornerback, and the Top player out of Ohio.
While LSU has a great foundation with In-State safeties to recruit, the Tigers will have to look outside of Louisiana unless a few cornerbacks take massive leaps. Landing In-State Five Star safety Blaine Bradford is the first step LSU needs to make in building up the secondary while holding onto Edna Karr commit Aiden Hall who's remained locked in with LSU.
LSU is feeling the Corey Raymond Effect
Which cornerbacks show up on campus will be one of the most fun storylines to follow this offseason as Corey Raymond enters his second recruiting cycle back at LSU. This Summer, elite Cornerbacks Chauncey Kennon, Havon Finney, and Elbert Hill will take visits to LSU while the Tigers are in the final groupings for several cornerbacks which could lead to additional visits. It'll be interesting to follow which recruits make their way to campus this Spring as Corey Raymond has shown he'll nab a top cornerback on a yearly basis.
