The LSU Football team has been letting the good news roll in as of late, as the Tigers are picking up steam on the recruiting trail. On Thursday, the LSU Football team landed elite in-state offensive tackle Brysten Martinez sending LSU's class flying up the recruiting rankings giving the Tigers the Nation's 3rd ranked recruiting class and the top class in the SEC according to On3.

While the recruiting dead period is underway elite recruits around the Country have been trimming down their lists of schools they're considering and LSU has the benefactor of several recruits doing such. One of the biggest developments on the recruiting trail has come on Friday as the top wide receiver in the 2027 recruiting class Ethan "Boobie" Feaster has reclassified into the 2026 class.

As Feaster reclassifies, he has cut his long list of offers down to 12 schools including LSU in the mix.

As Feaster moves from the 2027 recruiting class to the 2026 recruiting class, he's no longer the Top Wide Receiver but, he's ranked as the 91st best player in the Class, the 17th ranked wide receiver, and the 12th best player out of Texas.

The LSU Football team has been recruiting Feaster for as long as any other program and have hosted him several times for visits. As Feaster's timeline is sped up a year, when he takes his official visits, LSU will be one of the programs he visits. In the past few recruiting cycles, LSU has missed out on the top wide receiver recruits but, Feaster is another player LSU will have a great chance at landing.

The LSU Tigers already have two wide receivers committed with In-State recruits Kenny Darby and Jakai Anderson already on board. The top receiver in Louisiana Jabari Mack remains uncommitted but, will visit LSU after the dead period which is massive news.
