On Saturday Night, we'll have a team in sole possession of first place in the SEC as the two remaining unbeaten teams in Conference play, LSU and Texas A&M face off. This series has become a back and fourth with the home team winning every year since 2016 when LSU won in College Station. The Tigers enter the game as the 8th ranked team in the AP Poll while the Aggies aren't far behind at 14th.

As of Saturday Afternoon, here are the current odds for the biggest matchup of the day:

Line: Texas A&M -1

Total: 54.5 Points

The oddsmakers are predicting a battle between these two teams giving the slight edge to the Aggies as they're at home. The total indicates they expect these teams to both score in the high 20's with the score 28-27 fitting both outcomes.

Death Valley Voice Predictions:

Nick Rome: 24-14 LSU

Why LSU will win against the Aggies

The Texas A&M offense is easy to shutdown as it is one dimensional with their run game being their best feature. Given how LSU's defensive line and linebackers have played, LSU has the group that can slow the rushing attack and force A&M into passing situations. The LSU Tigers are the best offense the Aggies have faced and this game will be a game that puts Garrett Nussmeier into the Heisman conversation.
