Thursday provided a reason to be optimistic as Leavitt was upgraded to questionable, but the fans were still waiting for the official word.

Along with Sam Leavitt, both No. 7's came off the report as Whit Weeks and Trey'Dez Green, both of whom appear to be active for this weekend's game.
Having Sam Leavitt in the lineup this weekend is massive for the Tigers after it looked like Lane Kiffin may be coaching a backup quarterback in the first game of SEC play. Saturday Night is going to be the toughest environment imaginable, and giving either Landen Clark or Husan Longstreet their first big start in that situation would be asking a ton out of the two.
The biggest question is going to be whether Sam Leavitt is fully healthy or if there's going to be a chance that LSU may have to turn to a backup during the game. The reports have indicated that Sam Leavitt has been dealing with back spasms, which makes it tougher to project what he's dealing with and if it'll flare up.
