As the winter continues to move along we continue to inch closer to the official start to College Baseball season. LSU enters the year at the 2nd best team in America according to Perfect Game USA after loading up via the transfer portal. The Tigers are loaded with key contributors in each class, including the Freshmen from last season as Five LSU Tigers cracked Perfect Game's Top 100 Sophomores List.

Steven Milam is one of the players were all most excited to see in his Sophomore Season after his incredible Freshman season. Milam posted a .326 batting average with 12 doubles, 3 triples, 8 home runs, 40 RBIs, 7 stolen bases, and 51 runs scored. One of the best moments of the season came from Milam when he hit a walk off home run to beat South Carolina in the SEC Semifinal.

LSU added Devin Sheerin via the transfer portal this offseason as he transferred in as the 8th ranked transfer according to Baseball America via Mount St Mary's. As a Freshman, Sheerin pitched 70 innings striking out 109 batters while walking just 32.

Ashton Larson was a key piece of LSU's success last season batting .298 as a corner outfielder and a designated hitter for the Tigers. Like Steven Milam, Larson worked his way toward the top of LSU's lineup while providing some solid defense.

Kade Anderson came up massive for LSU at points this season especially during the Chapel Hill Regional pitching 2.1 scoreless innings across two games in one day. Anderson finished the year with a 3.99 ERA across 38.1 innings with 59 strikeouts. As LSU lost a ton of pitching to the draft, Anderson will be a key piece to LSU's success.

Jake Brown is the final LSU Tiger on the list after a succesful first season at the plate. Brown has the talent to be a two-way player at LSU and Jay Johnson has continued to say that LSU will continue to develop him as a pitcher and at the plate while he believes Brown made a jump at the plate over the last year.
