Don't look now, but March Madness is right around the corner. Led by senior guard Flau'jae Johnson, the LSU women's basketball team is currently ranked as the No. 6 team in the country and is poised for another NCAA Tournament run under Kim Mulkey.

Johnson is among the most iconic players to come through the LSU women's basketball program, and in the new era of NIL in college athletics, Johnson is making the most of her opportunities.
On Tuesday, it was announced that Johnson has partnered with BODYARMOR, which is now the official drink of the NCAA. Johnson joins BODYARMOR's "Choose Better" campaign alongside a star-studded group of athletes.

Flau'jae Johnson inks BODYARMOR partnership just in time for March Madness
The "Choose Better" ethos marks BODYARMOR's return to college basketball after seven years, and the new campaign will begin during the 2026 March Madness men's and women's tournaments. Johnson is one of 20 current college athletes on board the campaign, which also features a superstar lineup of professional athletes.
Headlining the campaign alongside Johnson is New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, who won a pair of National Championships in college with the Villanova Wildcats. Johnson and the Tigers were crowned NCAA champions in 2022-23, and they are eyeing another title this spring. Professional athletes also partnered with BODYARMOR include Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and former LSU Tiger turned Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.
Throughout the NCAA Tournament, BODYARMOR products such as towels, coolers, sports bottles, and in-arena signage will be seen on the court and around all NCAA Tournament venues throughout March Madness. There will also be BODYARMOR branding throughout television broadcasts and digital platforms such as social media.
So far this season, Johnson is averaging 14.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. She has appeared in 134 games with 132 starts at LSU, and is averaging 14.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game in her career. Along with being an NCAA Champion in 2022-23, Johnson was named the 2023 SEC Freshman of the Year and earned First Team All-SEC honors in 2025 and Second Team All-SEC in 2024.
