As the College Basketball transfer portal continues to shape rosters around the Country, players continue to enter the transfer portal despite it initially opening nearly a Month ago. The College Basketball transfer portal is much different than the College Football transfer portal as teams can build a National Championship roster in one offseason while there are less roster spots to work with.

Every year in the transfer portal, there is a group of players who become regulars, moving from program to program. On Sunday, another former LSU Tiger entered the transfer portal once again seeking another landing spot at a new program.

Former LSU Basketball player Adam Miller enters the transfer portal

On Sunday Afternoon, former LSU Basketball player Adam Miller entered the transfer portal this time leaving Arizona State.

Adam Miller started his College career as a four star recruit, signing with Illinois in the 2020 recruiting class. Miller burst onto the scene for Illinois, scoring 28 points in his debut, finishing the year averaging 8.3 points per game and 2.8 rebounds per game. After his Freshman season, Adam Miller decided to enter the transfer portal.

After entering the transfer portal, Adam Miller committed to LSU and Will Wade in his final season leading the Tigers. Adam Miller tore his ACL missing the entire season but, Adam Miller endeared himself to LSU fans by becoming one of the few pieces to stick with LSU as the welcomed in the Matt McMahon era.

During the 2022-23 season, Adam Miller averaged 11.5 points per game, 2.3 rebounds per game, and 1.7 assists per game finishing 2nd on the Tigers in scoring. After the season, Miller entered the transfer portal once again this time landing at Arizona State.

In Adam Miller's two seasons at Arizona State, he was a key rotational piece for Bobby Hurley but, his minutes and scoring did dip this season.

More likely than not, Adam Miller won't be heavily pursued by the LSU Tigers but, that doesn't mean he won't land at a familiar program. The Illinois Fighting Illini are expected to play a role in this recruitment which could bring the Illinois native back to his former program.
