The vast majority of the talk in the Sports world is surrounding the NFL's Black Monday where several Head Coaches around the league were fired. While some teams fired their Coaches on Monday, other teams got a head start on the process like the Saints, Jets, and the Bears.

Former LSU Passing Game coordinator was rumored to be the front runner for the Saints job when Dennis Allen was fired and now he'll interview for the gig.

The Saints will give Joe Brady a chance at landing the job but, will he take the job? On one hand, the Saints have an aging roster, salary cap issues, and no clear path to finding the Quarterback of the Future in a lackluster draft for Quarterbacks. On the other hand there are only 32 Head Coaching jobs so someone will take the job and given that Joe Brady isn't one of the top candidates it may make sense that he'd pursue the role.

Joe Brady has already brought a championship back to Louisiana as he was the Tigers passing game coordinator and the Wide Receivers coach for the LSU 2019 National Championship team. As a receivers coach, Brady coached maybe the best trio in College Football history in Justin Jefferson, Ja'Marr Chase, and Terrace Marshall Jr.

If Brady takes the job he could have a familiar face to work alongside as Clyde Edwards-Helaire finished the year with the team.

It would be a no brainer to get Joe Brady back In-State

The Saints have looked lifeless on offense as Derek Carr didn't finish the season well while Spencer Rattler could be developed until the next quarterback is found. The weapons are there for the Saints with Chris Olave, Alvin Kamara, and Rashid Shaheed among others but, the Saints will likely need a new quarterback to lead the team. It would make a ton of sense to bring in Brady who can help mentor and develop a Quarterback after everything he's done with Josh Allen this season.
