While the frenzy of NFL Free Agency has slowed down over the past few days, the teams are still making plenty of deals. One of the most interesting LSU Tigers to watch in this free agency was pass rusher K'Lavon Chaisson. NFL teams are always desperate to find players who can produce at pass rusher and after K'Lavon Chaisson caught fire down the final stretch of the year he was set to ink a deal somewhere this offseason.

On Thursday, signed a one year deal worth $5 Million moving from Las Vegas to the North East signing with the New England Patriots.

In his final ten games last season, Chaisson registered 15 pressures and 5 sacks, finishing the season with 19 tackles, 5 sacks, a forced fumble, and an interception. After his career got off to a rough start in Jacksonville, Chaisson refound the game he had at LSU and now will look to bet on himself again after signing a one-year deal in New England.

Chaisson heads to a rebuilding New England team that found its franchise quarterback in Drake Maye last year and has now started to build around him. The Patriots have gone out and signed a ton of solid piece on defense that Chaisson will play alongside in Milton Williams, Harold Landry, Khyiris Tonga, Carlton Davis, and Robert Spillane.

K'Lavon Chaisson will join a pair of fellow LSU standouts in Kayshon Boutte who's coming off of a breakout year himself and Jaquelin Roy who Chaisson will play alongside on the defensive line.

The Patriots have shown a clear plan to get the team back on the right track after dominating the sport for decades. While Mike Vrabel isn't Bill Belichick he's gotten the most out of every player during his career which bodes well for Chaisson this season.
