The Spring Transfer portal window in College Football officially opened on Wednesday Morning which will lead to players all over the Country looking for their next program. While the main concern is always over the players on the roster it's always interesting to follow a few other pieces whether its a former player transferring again or a former recruiting target that enters the transfer portal.
On Wednesday, one former LSU Commit entered the transfer portal and he may be one of the most famous players as Louisiana Tech Wide Receiver Decoldest Crawford entered the transfer portal.

Decoldest Crawford was a 3-star recruit in the 2022 Recruiting Class committing to LSU all the way back in 2019. Crawford stayed committed to LSU all the way until December of 2021 but, the firing of Ed Orgeron and his staff along with former LSU Wide Receivers coach Mickey Joseph landing at Nebraska led to Crawford decommitting 10 days before National Signing Day where he signed with the Cornhuskers.
Crawford would never end up taking the field for Nebraska as he suffered a season ending ACL injury causing him to miss 2022. He'd then transfer to Louisiana Tech, where he'd catch 2 passes for 17 yards as a Redshirt Freshman while playing on special teams. Up to this point, the 2 catches for 17 yards are the only stats to this point in Crawford's career and he'll now look to find another school he can play at.
The LSU Football team most likely won't be involved in this recruitment unless Brian Kelly is just looking to upgrade the Tigers in the name department. If there's one school to keep an eye on for Crawford, it's Grambling State where Mickey Joseph is currently the Head Coach as the two seem to be in lockstep.
