Kyren Lacy first came on the College Football radar as a three-star wide receiver recruit out of Thibodaux, LA. Lacy would sign with the ULL Ragin Cajuns, where he'd play two seasons, putting himself on the radar of Power 4 schools. When Kyren Lacy decided to transfer, he ended up taking the next step, signing with LSU where he'd play two seasons with the Tigers. As a Senior in 2024, Kyren Lacy had the best season of his career, which put him on the radar of NFL Draft analysts, scouts, and General Managers as the player next in line from WRU.
At LSU, Kyren Lacy went from the third weapon in a trio that included Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr to the Tigers biggest weapon on the outside. This season, Kyren Lacy caught 58 passes for 866 yards and 9 touchdowns. In October, Kyren Lacy made what will go down as an iconic play, rising above a falling Ole Miss defender to score the game winning touchdown in overtime sending Tiger Stadium into a frenzy.
"TOUCHDOWN. KYREN LACY. AND LSU WINS."

After posting a career season, Kyren Lacy was an NFL Draft hopeful, and was less than two weeks from potentially hearing his name called at the 2025 NFL Draft. It's heartbreaking to see Kyren Lacy pass away, especially just weeks from the NFL Draft as this time last year, Lacy, Malik Nabers, and Jayden Daniels were talking about him being next in line for NFL stardom at the NFL Draft.
