The end of the 2024 LSU Football season saw the emergence of Trey'Dez Green as the Five-Star True Freshman caught 6 passes for 53 yards and a pair of touchdowns helping LSU end its season with a win over Baylor. Heading into the 2025 season, the hope is that Trey'Dez Green can be LSU's starting tight end with Mason Taylor off to the NFL.

The only obstacle may be that Trey'Dez Green has Power Forward in his plans first as the tight end officially joined the LSU Basketball team on Tuesday Night.

Green didn't play in the game but, it was the first time he was officially with the team on the bench as he continues to work into basketball shape. After the game, Matt McMahon was asked about Trey'Dez Green and said that the Tight End is ramping up to 5 on 5 in practice but, didn't give any hint as to when we may see him in the game.

Green isn't just a football player attempting to do both as he was one of the top Basketball recruits in the state averaging 27 points and 11 rebounds in his final season of High School Basketball.

When we may see Trey'Dez Green is the big question as it'll be tough to find him serious minutes to build himself up as every game in SEC Play will be a battle. Given the fact that LSU lost Jalen Reed for the season, the Tigers can certainly use another big man especially as Daimion Collins and Corey Chest are carrying the load meaning Green could eventually spell either player for a bit.

If we're hoping to see Green officially in the game for LSU, we all need to root for a blowout so we can see the 6 foot 7 tight end in action.
