Last Year, Jayden Daniels went from LSU Quarterback to College Football legend, taking home the Heisman Trophy, etching his name in the history books as one of the elite of the elite. Anyone who thought that Jayden Daniels would have a tough time adjusting to NFL was deeply mistaken as Daniels quickly proved he was a superstar.
On Thursday Night, Jayden Daniels mantle got more crowded as the Pepsi Zero Sugar NFL Rookie of the Year and the NFL Honors Rookie of the Year Award joined the Heisman Trophy and Daniels' other awards.

The voting for the NFL Honors Rookie of the Year Voting wasn't even close as Daniels picked up 49 of 50 first place votes.

Jayden Daniels Rookie season was incredible as he took the Commanders from the second worst record in the NFL to the NFC Championship Game. Daniels finished the year with 3,568 yards passing, 25 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions while adding 891 yards and 6 touchdowns rushing.
In the NFL Playoffs, Jayden Daniels proved he was among the best in the NFL completing 65.8% of his passes for 822 yards and 5 touchdowns with just one interception adding another touchdown on the ground.
While Jayden Daniels takeover was impressive, this was just the beginning for "That Kid Jayden". This season, Jayden Daniels did more with less, leading the team in rushing while only having one elite weapon in Terry McLaurin. This offseason, the Commanders have $90.95 million in Salary Cap space allowing the Commanders to build around Daniels.
As Jayden Daniels gets more experience, the NFL will only get easier for him as the rookie season is always the hardest. The teams that were able to beat the Commanders should be happy they got their win this season as the team is about to be loaded for years to come.
While winning the award, Jayden Daniels beat out Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr which is quite the recruiting statement for the LSU Football program.
