On Tuesday, the Reese's Senior Bowl truly kicked off as the players took the field for their first day of practice leading up to the game. While the weekdays are "Practices" it's a full blown competition as the players face off in drills looking to stand out to the NFL Scouts in attendance. The Five LSU Tigers in the Senior Bowl took the field for Day One with varying results.
Miles Frazier is one of the biggest winners of Day One of the Senior Bowl as everyone in attendance was blown away by his performance. Frazier excelled in the American Team's Outside Zone concepts as his experience really stood out. Nearly every scout and analyst that left the day listed Miles Frazier as one of their biggest winners of the practice. Along with his solid play as a run blocker, Miles Frazier went up against potential first round pick Walter Nolen in pass protection and shut him down.

Most of the analysts in attendance seemed very impressed by plays Mason Taylor made routinely while at LSU. As has become the standard for Taylor, he was dominant as a blocker and as a receiver he made some impressive plays while the quarterback play did not help him. If Taylor can continue to impress the rest of the week his floor will seemingly be an early Day Two selection.

Emery Jones was another interesting player to watch coming into this week as he's a player many are predicting will be a guard at the NFL level. Jones took snaps at tackle and guard during the individual drills showing teams his ability to play both positions. In pass protection, Jones got beat a few times but, the defensive line is at such an advantage however, he did flash in the run game.
Garrett Dellinger had some solid reps in the team drills but, ended up on the wrong side of some highlight reel plays during the individual drills and will look to get back on track on Day Two.
Edge Rusher Sai'Vion Jones had some solid reps as an edge rusher but, when you are allowed to hit the quarterbacks in the game at the end of the week, he should be able to flash his ability even more.
