As 2024 comes to a close, so does the LSU Basketball team's Non-Conference schedule as the Tigers play their second to last Non-Conference game on Sunday. The Tigers will look to improve to 10-2 on the season as they host the 2-8 New Orleans Privateers. This is another game that LSU needs to win and it should be by a wide margin as they look to improve heading into Conference play.

Official Odds for LSU Vs Stetson

As of Sunday Morning, the LSU Tigers are such heavy favorites over the Privateers who are off to a 2-8 start to the season that there is no line available for the game.

Injury Report for the LSU Tigers

The LSU Basketball team will continue to be without Veteran Forward Jalen Reed who tore his ACL in the game against Florida State which will end his season. Tyrell Ward was ruled out for the season before the season opener by Matt McMahon as he steps away to focus on his mental health. The Tigers got Noah Boyde 2 minutes of playing time against Stetson so we should continue to see McMahon working him into the rotation.

The end of Non-Conference Play is nearing

The LSU Basketball team hasn't played a tough Non-Conference schedule but, they have handled business winning the games they should win. On Sunday, that should be the case again as New Orleans is 2-8 and a team that LSU should handle with ease. The goal on Sunday should be to jump out to a big enough lead early on so that Matt McMahon can focus on getting the younger pieces more playing time as he looks to develop them into rotational pieces.
