After a 4-0 week for the LSU Baseball team, the Tigers return to the field as the Nation's 7th ranked team as LSU looks to regain its footing as a Top 5 team in America. This week starts as LSU faces off against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs as LSU looks to remain unbeaten against its In-State foes. LSU enters this game 26-3 on the season with no losses in a weekday game. The Bulldogs enter this game with a 17-11 record, as they struggled in Non-Conference play.

The LSU Tigers have been led by their offense, which has decimated opponents all season long. The last four weekday games have been dominant performances by LSU as they've mercy ruled their opponent in the last four weekday games, which has set them up well heading into the weekend series.

Who Could Start for LSU?

The last two weekday starts have gone to Jaden Noot who has been incredibly impressive in his two starts and in his relief appearances with a 2-0 record across 14.2 innings pitched with a 3.07 ERA, 18 strikeouts, and just 6 walks on the season. If Jaden Noot doesn't get the start, LSU could start true Freshman William Schmidt who didn't appear for LSU this weekend. Gavin Guidry remains a wild card as Jay Johnson keeps saying he's nearing a return and could be eased into the season with a short starting appearance.
