The biggest game of the weekend in College Football is the matchup between the LSU Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide. The game has massive stakes with the Tigers ranked 15th by the College Football Playoff committee while the Tigers rank 11th. The winner of this game has a great chance at making the College Football Playoff while the loser won't be able to make it back into contention. Here is all the information you need as LSU takes on Alabama:

How to watch:

The LSU Football team will face off against Alabama at 6:30 PM Central Time or 7:30 PM Eastern time for the fans on the East Coast. The game will be broadcast on ABC as well as on ESPN + for those without cable or a streaming provider. If you'd like to listen to the game it'll be available on LSU Sports Radio Network (98.1 FM in Baton Rouge). The announcers for the television broadcast haven't been announced yet.

Odds:

The oddsmakers are predicting another tight game for the LSU Football team and despite the fact that this game will be played in Tiger Stadium, LSU is the underdog at home.

  • Odds: Alabama -3
  • Total: 58.5 Points

Injuries:

CJ Daniels is in a better spot than he has been as of late thanks to the bye week so we should see Daniels on the field this weekend. Garrett Dellinger will be out this weekend and potentially much longer as he had tightrope surgery after suffering an ankle injury against Texas A&M.

The Crimson Tide will be without rotational wide receiver and starting punt returner Cole Adams who has been ruled out for the season this week. Starting Safety Keon Sabb will remained sidelined this weekend.

Weather:

The threat of Hurricane Rafael may affect travel for this game as the conditions toward the end of the week may be rough. During the day it'll be in the low 80's before dipping back into the low 70's around kickoff. The Weather Channel is forecasting rain all day on Saturday with a 70% chance of rain and winds of 10 to 15 MPH.

Series History:

The Crimson Tide hold the All-Time lead in this series against LSU holding a record of 56-27-5. The Tide currently hold a one game win streak over LSU after winning last year's matchup 42-28. The Tigers have won two of the last five matchups including the last matchup in Baton Rouge.
