How to watch LSU vs Florida, odds, injuries, weather, series history, etc.
This weekend LSU travels to the Swamp looking to pick up a much-needed victory over an injured Florida Gators team. The Tigers are on a two-game losing and any loss in Conference would kill LSU's chances of making the SEC Championship Game. This weekend's game between LSU and Florida won't be one of the best games in the matchup or even the best games of the weekend but, its still an important game for both sides.
How to watch:
The LSU Football team will end its run of night games when it heads to Florida as the game kicks off at 2:30 PM Central Time or 3:30 PM Eastern time for the fans on the East Coast. The game will be broadcast on ABC as well as on ESPN + for those without a cable TV or a streaming provider. If you'd like to listen to the game, it'll be available on LSU Sports Radio Network (98.1 FM in Baton Rouge). The announcers for the television broadcast haven't been announced yet.
Odds:
Despite Florida being down to its third string quarterback, the oddsmakers are predicting that this game will be an all out war.
Line: LSU -4.5
Total: 54.5 Points
Injuries:
The first round of availability reports come out on Wednesday Night, so we'll get a better idea of who's in or out this weekend. The Tigers were without left guard Garrett Dellinger on Saturday as he underwent Tightrope surgery on his ankle during the Bye Week.
The Florida Gators may be without DJ Lagway as the freshman phenom quarterback has missed time in the last two games as he battles a hamstring injury. If Lagway can't go the Gators are in trouble as Aidan Warner has struggled for Florida.
Weather:
This weekend in Gainesville, the temperatures did which makes going into the swamp less daunting for LSU. It'll be clear skies and sunny on Saturday Afternoon, and it'll be in the low to mid 70's which is a beautiful setting for the fans.
Series History:
The LSU Tigers hold the slight series advantage over Florida with a 34-33-1 record in this rivalry. The Tigers currently hold a five-game win streak over Florida which is the longest streak LSU has ever had over Florida. The Tigers have won eight of the last ten matchups and will look to extend its streak to pull closer to Florida's All-Time streak of 9 wins in a row.
