On Thursday Night, Kim Mulkey's LSU Lady Tigers return to action as they host the Georgia Bulldogs. Coming into the game, LSU is the Nation's 7th ranked team in the AP Poll at 25-2 with a 10-2 record in SEC Play while the Bulldogs are 10-16 and just 2-10 in SEC Play. After a brutal loss, Kim Mulkey will be looking to get her team back on track against an opponent LSU should handle.
After the loss, Kim Mulkey called out her team and their toughness which will be a determining factor the rest of the season for the Tigers.
"You have to be tough in the toughest situations and we weren't tough."Kim Mulkey
The Lady Tigers are led by the dominant trio of Flau'Jae Johnson, Mikaylah Williams, and Aneesah Morrow who can wipe out an opponent by themselves on any given night. For the Tigers going forward, the team will need to find a consistent scoring option off of the bench which has been an issue all year.
While Georgia has struggled this year they have four players averaging double figures in Trinity Turner, De'Mauri Flournoy, Mia Woolfolk, and Asia Avinger making them tough to defend.
