The NCAA Tournament bracket was officially unveiled on Sunday Night as the NCAA Tournament committee unveiled both the Men's and Women's NCAA Tournament brackets. The LSU Lady Tigers were unveiled as a 3-Seed as they'll open the tournament against the 14th seeded San Diego State Aztecs.
The Aztecs enter this tournament red hot after winning the Mountain West Tournament in a Triple Overtime thriller. This season, the Aztecs went 25-9 with an 11-7 record in the Mountain West finishing fourth place in the regular season. The Aztecs are led by Veronica Sheffey and Naomi Panganiban who average in double figures while the whole team contributes.
The LSU Lady Tigers fell to the three seed line as injuries took away Flau'Jae Johnson for the SEC Tournament and Aneesah Morrow in the SEC Tournament which cost LSU a few games.
