While most are referring to the Super Bowl as the "Big Game" on Sunday, the 6th Ranked LSU Women's Basketball team will face off against the 19th Ranked Tennessee Lady Volunteers in a massive SEC Clash. The Lady Tigers enter the game 24-1 and 9-1 in SEC Play while Tennessee is 17-5 and 4-5 in SEC Play. LSU is the midst of a 4 game winning streak while Tennessee is in a two game winning streak which includes a massive win over the UConn Huskies.

The first matchup between these two teams couldn't have been closer as Kailyn Gilbert's buzzer beat gave the LSU Lady Tigers a massive win. The initial matchup featured 20+ point games by Aneesah Morrow, Jewel Spear, Flau'Jae Johnson, and Kailyn Gilbert. The second matchup will be determined by the stars on both sides as both teams feature some of the best players in the Country.

On both sides of this matchup there are injuries as LSU will be without Izzy Besselman and Tennessee will be without Kaiya Wynn.

A win for Kim Mulkey's LSU Lady Tigers will likely send the Tigers back inside the Nation's Top Five due to some results around the Country. A win of Tennessee would give the Volunteers one of the best weeks possible with wins over Top Ten UConn and LSU.
