After being swept by the Auburn Tigers last weekend, the 9th ranked LSU Baseball team will look to get back on the right track in SEC play against the 15th-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. LSU is ranked as the 9th best team in the Country according to D1Baseball with a 31-6 record and a 10-5 record in SEC Play. After facing Auburn last week, who is ranked 8th, LSU faces off against another Top 15 opponent in the 15th ranked Alabama Crimson Tide who are 30-8 on the year and 8-7 in SEC Play.
Last weekend, LSU was let down by its offense which has been one of the best in the Country for most of the season but, struggled against Auburn's pitching staff. In losing efforts, Anthony Eyanson and Chase Shores turned in solid outings which is what LSU will be hoping for in this series.
The Alabama Crimson Tide are led by incredible infielder Justin Lebron who leads the SEC in RBIs with 58 and is 3rd in the SEC in Home Runs with 15. If the Tide have a late lead, closer Carson Ozmer is one of the best closers in the Country.
