This weekend, Alex Box Stadium is home to one of the biggest games of the College Baseball season as the LSU Tigers host the Arkansas Razorbacks. As postseason play approaches this is a matchup between 2 Top-10 teams in the National Polls, 2 Top 10 teams in the RPI, and 2 of the Top 4 teams in the SEC standings as both sides hope to land a double bye in the SEC Tournament.
The LSU Baseball team enters this matchup at 38-11 with a 15-9 record against SEC opponents. Last weekend, LSU dropped 2 out of 3 games to the Texas A&M Aggies as the Tigers offense went cold meaning LSU will look to bounce back this weekend.
The Arkansas Razorbacks on the other hand may be the hottest team in the Country fresh off of a sweep of the Texas Longhorns who were ranked #1 at the time. The Razorbacks are 40-9 on the year with a 17-7 record in SEC play occupying the 2nd seed in the SEC Tournament as things currently stand.
