After narrowly escaping a shocking upset, the 3rd ranked LSU Baseball team takes their 9 game winning streak on the road to Auburn, Alabama to face off against the Auburn Tigers. LSU is ranked as the 3rd best team in the Country according to D1Baseball with a 31-3 record and a 10-2 record in SEC Play. After facing Oklahoma last week who was ranked 10th, LSU faces off against the 11th ranked Auburn Tigers who are 23-10 on the year and 6-6 in SEC Play.

Against the Oklahoma Sooners, LSU got their best weekend of pitching this season headlined by Kade Anderson's complete game shutout. Coming into this weekend, LSU will look to carry the momentum on the mound while the offense will look to return to form after a quiet game against Nicholls State.

Auburn's offense will look to snap LSU's streak, powered by their offense, which has the 5th best batting average in the SEC. Auburn will also send a familiar face to the mound as three-year LSU Tiger Samuel Dutton has become Auburn's ace, while Chris Stanfield will face off against Auburn for the first time since transferring to LSU.
