The College Baseball regular season is nearing its close and as the 2nd ranked LSU Baseball team continues to jockey for seeding both nationally and in the SEC, the Tigers go on the road to College Station. The LSU Tigers enter this series with a 37-9 record and a 14-7 record in the SEC after a massive series win over Tennessee. The Aggies on the other hand are unranked with a 25-19 record on the year and an 8-13 record in SEC Play.
The start of the season was a massive disappointment for the Texas A&M Aggies as they entered the year as the top team in the Country according to D1Baseball after a run to the College World Series. As of late the Aggies are turning their season around making a push for NCAA Tournament consideration. While the Aggies are having a down year, the team has two of the best players in the Country Jace LaViolette and Caden Sorrell.
When the LSU Baseball team is clicking on offense there isn't an easy out in the Tigers lineup. Last weekend against Tennessee, LSU's lineup broke out of a slump and will look to make every at-bat a battle for Texas A&M's staff. The Tigers are looking for a Sunday starter as Chase Shores has been moved out of the rotation, Casan Evans got the Sunday start last week and could make another appearance on Sunday.
