On Friday Evening, we'll finally get to see the rematch of last year's SEC Championship Game as LSU Lady Tigers will travel to Columbia to take on the South Carolina Gamecocks. This game was orginally scheduled to take place on Thursday Night but, the snow in Baton Rouge caused travel issues.

This game will be one of the best in College Basketball all season as South Carolina enters as the 2nd ranked team in the Country at 18-1 while LSU is ranked 5th at 20-0. Kim Mulkey and Dawn Staley are the two top Coaches in the sport winning the National Championship and this matchup is quickly becoming a rivalry game. Last season, the SEC Championship between these two teams was heated with a fight in the game that led to ejections.

The LSU Lady Tigers are tough to slow down as the Tigers have a three headed monster in Flau'Jae Johnson, Aneesah Morrow, and Mikaylah Williams. When you add in what LSU can get on any given night from Kailyn Gilbert, Jersey Wolfenbarger, and some of the other pieces and it's an incredible recipe for success.

The South Carolina Gamecocks are a well balanced team as no individual player carries the scoring load. The Gamecocks will need one of their players to take a step up in this game if they're going to beat LSU's defense which has been solid this season.
