Jack Bech's NFL Draft moment is a tearjerker for all of Louisiana

The NFL Draft is always one of the most emotional events of the year as hundreds of college football stars accomplish their NFL Dreams. As millions of fans learn about each player, there are always stories that have the viewers at home holding back tears. The most emotional moment in the 2025 NFL Draft comes as TCU Wide Receiver Jack Bech is selected 58th overall by the Las Vegas Raiders.

Jack Bech will quickly become a fan favorite for fans across the country as they learn about the tragedy his family has gone through this year. On New Year's Eve Jack Bech's brother Tiger Bech passed away during the New Orleans terrorist attack.

During a horrific moment, Jack Bech was a hero helping a saving a life by pushing an onlooker out of the way of the terrorists.

Leading up to the NFL Draft, Jack Bech has been open about how much his brother meant to him and has vowed to honor is brother as he achieves the dream the two had getting drafted into the NFL.

The Louisiana native started his career at LSU signing with the Tigers in a loaded wide receiver class. As a True Freshman in a wide receiver room with Kayshon Boutte, Malik Nabers, Brian Thomas Jr, and JaRay Jenkins, it was Jack Bech who led the team with 43 catches for 489 yards and 3 touchdowns

As a Sophomore Bech battled injuries which caused him to miss a chunk of the season leading to him catching just 16 passes for 200 yards and a touchdown. After the season, Bech would transfer to TCU where he'd emerge as a starting wide receiver. This season, Bech broke out with 62 catches for 1,034 yards and 9 touchdowns.

Given the journey Jack Bech has gone on in his career and the journey his family has gone on, the entire NFL world will be rooting on the Louisiana Native.
