The Washington Commanders are currently one of the best stories in sports as the team has gone on a Cinderella run from winning four games last season to the NFC Championship Game this year. As Jayden Daniels ascent has taken this team to the NFC Championship fans across football are watching and admiring how special Daniels has been as a Rookie.

The Commanders face off against the Philadelphia Eagles with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line. When Daniels faces off against the Philadelphia Eagles he'll be facing a NFC East Divisional Rival whom he went 1-1 against this season. In this game, Jayden Daniels will also be looking to get revenge for LSU's loss in the 2022 SEC Championship Game.

After suffering an ankle injury late against Texas A&M in the regular season finale, Jayden Daniels wore a walking boot in the buildup to the SEC Championship Game. Early on in the Game LSU was tied at 7 a piece in a game they should've been winning if not for an error on a blocked field goal returned for a touchdown.

As Georgia built up a 28-7 lead in the Second Quarter hope for LSU was fading before it was completely ripped away. Jalen Carter beat the LSU offensive line for a sack but, rather than brining Jayden Daniels to the ground he lifted him up and held up the Number 1 attempting to embarrass LSU.

On the play, Jayden Daniels reinjured his ankle and while he'd return for the final drive of the first half he wouldn't return for the rest of the game. The Tigers lost 50-30 as Garrett Nussmeier's comeback attempt fell short and Georgia would go on to win the National Championship.

Daniels finished the game 16 of 24 for 208 yards with a touchdown and an interception while losing 6 yards rushing as he couldn't evade the pass rush on one ankle. The Tigers still may have lost with Daniels in the game but, losing him before halftime was a dagger.

This weekend, Jayden Daniels gets to face off against Jalen Carter again while he also gets to face Nolan Smith and Kelee Ringo who were key pieces on that Georgia defense.

This time, Jayden Daniels is once again a part of the underdog team that no one is giving any chance of winning the game will facing off against a team everyone said would be in the Championship Game before the season. A win for Jayden Daniels doesn't erase the loss from 2022 but, it would get him over the hump and into the Title game which he wasn't able to accomplish at LSU.
