The Washington Commanders Cinderella run in the NFL Playoffs officially came to an end on Sunday as the Philadelphia Eagles rolled to victory. Three fumbles by the Commanders in this game gave the Eagles a massive lead which made it impossible for the offense to overcome. While the Commanders will be upset the season comes to an end a game away from the Super Bowl, there is plenty to look forward to.

Jayden Daniels finished the game 29 of 48 passing for 255 yards with a touchdown and an interception while adding another 48 yards and a touchdown. While Daniels didn't exactly light up the scoreboard, he couldn't do much more as the Commanders fumbled the ball away three times putting the team in a massive hole.

In Daniels' first season in the NFL, he led the team from the second worst record in the league all the way to the NFC Championship game a remarkable feat. The Commanders exceeded every expectation this season behind Daniels and heading into next season, there's plenty to look forward to.

During the Regular Season, Jayden Daniels passed for 3,568 yards with 25 touchdowns and 9 interceptions while rushing for 891 yards and six touchdowns all while dealing with a rib injury this season. During the Playoffs, Daniels showed the poise that the league's best quarterbacks all have completing 75 of 114 attempts for 822 yards with 5 touchdowns and 1 interception while rushing for 135 yards and a score. It's clear that Daniels' is now among the best in the NFL and now the team gets to build around him.

Heading into the offseason, the Commanders have a projected $94.7 million in cap space and if the salary cap increases they'll have even more. This team has a few holes on the offensive line, wide receiver, and on the defense. The Commanders will be able to spend big this offseason and the most talented players in the league will all be looking to partner up with the Rookie of the Year front runner.

If the Commanders are able to spend big this offseason and if they can put together another solid draft class, the Commanders and Daniels will be here to stay for a long.
