On Thursday Night, Justin Jefferson turned in yet another great game continuing to prove he's the best receiver in the NFL and he's only getting better. In a losing effort, Justin Jefferson caught eight passes for 115 yards on nine targets leading the game in yards and catches. While the Vikings lost, Justin Jefferson made one of the most impressive plays of the season thus far.
Matched up against Darious Williams on the sideline, Jefferson was being held but, it was no problem as he reached out with one arm tipped the ball up, juggled it, juggled it again, and made a spectacular catch getting both feet in bounds in what will be one of the best plays of the year.
The angle from the endzone give you a better look at the hold and a better look at how unbelievable Jefferson's concentration is given the fact that the ball was behind him before he secured it.
The Vikings have now lost two games in a row after starting unbeaten as the Sam Darnold feel good story is starting to turn. One of the things Darnold should be doing more often is targeting Jefferson as he reeled in eight of his nine targets, when you have the best receiver in the game he needs more than nine targets.
On the season, Jefferson now has 33 catches for 531 yards and five touchdowns averaging 16.1 yards per catch. It's still so early in Jefferson's career but, his stats are so eye opening that every game he plays he's breaking paces set by Hall of Famers for stats in their careers.
