After falling short losing to UCLA in the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight, it was clear that Kim Mulkey had some work to do if the Lady Tigers are going to be a contender in 2025-26. As Aneesah Morrow went 7th overall in the WNBA Draft and pieces like Sa’Myah Smith and Last-Tear Poa left for the transfer portal Kim Mulkey’s job got even harder.

The Lady Tigers started their offseason off by landing former 5-star recruit Kate Koval who was a massive target for LSU before she signed with Notre Dame.

Amiya Joyner was the next big splash for Mulkey as LSU got an elite scoring threat on the interior.

While both pieces are great and could have massive impacts next season, LSU still needs to add one more superstar next to Flau’Jae Johnson and Mikaylah Williams.

On Thursday and Friday, the LSU Women’s basketball team gets Wisconsin transfer Serah Williams on campus for an official visit.

Top-10 transfer Serah Williams visits LSU

Williams is one of the top players in the transfer portal and would be a great addition to fill the void of Aneesah Morrow leaving for the WNBA. Williams would give LSU a dominant force on the inside which would free up Flau’Jae Johnson and Mikaylah Williams for easier baskets.

If you want to see how important it is for LSU to land Serah Williams, look no further as Flau’Jae Johnson shared video of the team hosting Williams on her visit and by the looks of it it’ll be hard to pass up LSU.

The Tigers push couldn’t be stronger as Flau’Jae Johnson left her tour to be in attendance which has to show Williams how much she’d be welcomed in Baton Rouge.

The Tigers will now wait and see if they can get Serah Williams to commit on Friday Night before she leaves campus for her next visit.
